Hungry Angry x East 101

Hungry Angry & East 101 is a hospitality project in Paphos bringing burgers and sushi together in a bold, contemporary space.

PROJECT YEAR: 2025

LOCATION: Paphos

SERVICES: Interior Architecture / Space Planning / Project Supervision

Hungry Angry & East 101 is a dynamic takeaway concept in Paphos that brings together two contrasting food identities, burgers and sushi - within one bold and contemporary environment. The design aims to capture the energetic character of both brands while creating a cohesive spatial experience that is visually striking and operationally efficient.

The interior concept is driven by a strong industrial aesthetic, defined by exposed concrete surfaces, visible ductwork, and metal elements that emphasize the raw architectural structure of the space. This utilitarian base is contrasted with carefully introduced graphic interventions and custom-built features that reinforce the brand identity.

Orange, the primary brand colour, becomes the central visual element of the project. It is integrated through architectural metal frameworks, shelving structures, service counters, and signage, creating a continuous visual language throughout the space. These elements not only define the brand presence but also help organize the functional zones of the takeaway.

Custom shelving behind the counter forms a distinctive architectural feature, displaying products while creating a strong backdrop for the service area. The counter itself is designed as a bold focal point, featuring vertical orange elements that add rhythm and depth while maintaining durability for high-traffic use.

The layout prioritizes efficiency and flow, ensuring clear circulation between ordering, preparation, and pickup areas while maintaining visual engagement for customers entering the space. Graphic walls, signage, and brand messaging further strengthen the identity of the concept, creating a memorable and recognizable environment.

The result is a vibrant and contemporary takeaway space that reflects the bold attitude of the brand while balancing industrial materials, strong colour identity, and functional design.
